If you have read my blog at all you know how much I like cement walls and floors so this apartment definitely satisfies that!! The vibrant blue accent furniture is the perfect contrast against the polished grey walls. Add some unique chandeliers, I especially love the one over the bathtub!! Check it out!!

An Eclectic Home in Madrid

Happy Friday everyone!!

I thought I would finish off the week with a unique and eclectic home in Madrid Spain. This 1,938 sq ft residence belongs to the Spanish actor Gustavo Salmeron. I love all the plants in the living room, the colourful-industrial stairwell and industrial faucets.Let me know what you think!!

Contemporary Western Design

I came across this ridiculous contemporary house by Hoyt Architects and CTA Architects. The Architecture is absolutely stunning!! I love the mix of wood, cement and stone used both inside and out. The use of wood on walls, ceilings, in furniture and as a dining room platform is brilliant!! I must also mention my love for the orange stove in the kitchen and the amazing giant pillows in the kids playroom/theatre. I couldn't figure out exactly where this house is located but Hoyt Architects is based out of Florida. CTA Architects is all over the US so that didn't really help me but either way, enjoy this home!!

Here are some ways I would decorate in keeping with the modern 

interior. 

              #1. Keep it simple- do not over clutter, less is more!

           #2. Greys and silvers look beautiful combined with concrete floors, ceilings and walls!

                #3. Add pops of colour with artwork, furniture and a few key accessories. Keep it interesting!

#4. Special lighting is key!
