BenirrĂ¡s Beach Ibiza North

Happy Monday!!
I have a million more photos from my trip to Dublin Ireland and Ibiza Spain but I won't bore you too much longer with them. One beach I do have to mention though is Benirras Beach.
BenirrĂ¡s Beach
This beach, located on the islands northwest coast, just past San Miguel, was my favourite of the trip!! The atmosphere was so relaxed and the scenery was breathtaking!!

I daydreamed about living in this house..

Anna insisted we rent a paddle boat with a slide.
At Sunset
This beach attracts a large hippy community and every Sunday at Sunset the hippy bongo drummers bid the sun farewell. It was a great vibe!!

Have an amazing week!!

The Pool and Old Town Ibiza

Here are some more of my adventures in Ibiza. Again, we stayed away from the madness of San Antonio and I don't regret it for a second.
The Pool
Sometimes its nice to get away from the sand. We came across this Restaurant/Pool Jacaranda Bar in Es Cana after visiting the Punta Arabi Hippy Market featured on a Previous Post. They have a dj playing all day (who is actually good) and the frozen lemonade was sweet yet tart making it my drink of choice!!

The DJ booth

I thought the umbrellas were adorable.

I had to check out the beach near the pool...

Old Town Ibiza
We drove into Ibiza Town one night, ate at a gorgeous restaurant and wandered the shops. It wasn't until we walked up to the Old Town where I had my moment. The dramatic main entrance is up a slope, across a drawbridge, through the Portal de Ses Taules, through an ancient cobbled stone courtyard into the Plaza de Vila. I felt like I had been transported to another world, as if I were in a disney movie version of what Spain was. It didn't feel real to me. The cobbled stone walkways, the unique shops of talented local artists showcasing their work, a watch store full of antique clocks and pocket watches, romantic restaurants lit by candle light, balconies with lines of clothing hanging to dry. I almost cried. I couldn't believe a place so romantic existed.

Just wow!!

St. Eulalia Ibiza

Ibiza, Spain was my second stop on my vacation. Before I left everyone told me Ibiza is the party capital of Spain. Yes, the madness was there but it was so much more then that. We almost avoided it completely. I'm so grateful I got to experience it.
"Palette de la Pante"
My friend found this place on airbnb.com and I would highly recommend it. (Our Apartment) We called it "Palette de la Pante" because the entire apartment was decorated with furniture made of Palettes, it was really original and looked great!! It was two bedrooms, Ana and I shared one room, James and Kate the master bedroom and Gary slept on the bed/couch. There was a little kitchen with a washing machine in it which also came in handy. My favourite was the patio though.
Kate and James/Kate and Anna
This is the one and only photo I have of James on the trip. Unfortunately he was extremely sick with a flu the first few nights we were there. Luckily he recovered and was able to enjoy the last few days we had there.

Quirky Home Decor

The owner of the place had some interesting and rather sexual taste in artwork...

The Patio
I was in love with our patio!! Table made of palettes, the stools were adorable and we had a little barbecue. If we were in the apartment, we were out here!!

 Furry Visitors
Two dogs named Lucky who looked exactly the same would come visit as well as some neighbourhood cats which I loved!! They were fed well to say the least.

A dreamy home
Some of the homes in Ibiza were phenomenal!! I would daydream while lying on the beach that I lived in this one.

 Our Beach
The quietest beach near our apartment. We walked up to a little cliff and relaxed for hours.

The Hippy Market
We checked out Punta Arabi Hippy Market nearby in Es Cana. Kate got a lovely purse and Anna an adorable little vest. I just took photos.

More of my adventures in Ibiza to come!!
