A Funky Apartment in San Fancisco

I was browsing Lonny's for some inspiration and came across the chic and eclectic home of Lawyer turned Wallpaper maven Christiana Coop. She is co-owner of Hygge and West, they create and distribute beautiful wallpaper and fabrics. She describes her style as "mix[ing] vintage with modern and antiques." My favourite parts of this home are the funky chandelier, painted white brick fireplace, all the house plants and the wallpaper used in the bathroom.

2014- What I am Grateful For

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that it is officially 2015 I want to take a moment to remember the year passed, the highlights and everything and everyone I am so grateful for!!The highlight of 2014 for me was definitely when Andy and I went to Disneyland and drove up the Coast to San Francisco. Disneyland was so much fun and the drive up the Coast was the most beautiful drive I have ever done!! Also eating in San Francisco was a delight!! Here are some of my favourite moments from our trip...

Andy found this gem in Santa Barbara, BEST mexican food I have ever had!!

The Food

The fact that I got to go on this trip with my best friend and the man I love all the times made this trip perfect :)

This year was also one of the first years in a LOOONG time I actually enjoyed Christmas!! I have a little Christmas baggage but this year was relaxing and fun thanks to these wonderful people in my life... my family :):)

 (Part of) Andy's Family

I can't forget these guys!! My kids, Jesse and Robyn
This year I also reunited with friends from high school...
(Thanks to Steph-Middle)

In August, Andy and I spent a weekend in Whistler. Hiking Black comb, Dinner at Barefoot Bistro and Massages. It was such a relaxing weekend.

I also changed jobs this year and started working at Moe's Home Collection. I've met some great friends and fell in love with all the furniture and home decor.

I hope you all take the time to reflect on your year and appreciate all the amazing things and people in your lives!!

Alcatraz and More Tourist Stuff. Also, Dessert

Today is our last day in San Francisco, yesterday was our last full day. We spent a big chunk of it exploring Alcatraz. It was interesting and depressing of course. The weather kinda suited it..

Three inmates successfully escaped. They made fake heads to make it look like they were sleeping in their beds.

Being A Tourist

For our last night in San Francisco we were planning on going to House of Prime Rib for dinner but didn't make reservations. So, rather then waiting for an hour and a half we went to a restaurant called Street. The dinner was pretty good but the desert was AMAZING!! We ordered two desserts to share because were on holidays and can do whatever we want! Lol! Honestly though, I have eaten way to much of whatever I've wanted these past two weeks. When I get home its time for a diet and dedication to the gym!! Anyways, here's what we got for dessert.
Dessert #1
Bitter-Sweet Chocolate Cake
The Star of The Night Dessert #2
Homemade Peanut Butter Icecream- This was probably one of the best deserts I have EVER had!! We mixed it with the Bitter-Sweet Chocolate cake too, mmmmmm!!
Were off to enjoy our last day in San Francisco, we fly home tonight. It's been a great trip, I'm sad to see it end.
