Lace Dresses

It's that time of year again where you start thinking about buying a new dress for some holiday event. I love lace so I'm thinking of getting a lace dress again this year. A few years ago I bought this lace dress from Le Chateau (please excuse the fuzzy photo. It's on an old iphone)

I love my black lace dress but it's been a couple years now and I've worn it many times so it's time for a new one.

The only problem is it's not in stores yet and I really want to try it on before buying it. Anyways, seeing as I am looking for a lace dress I have been scouring the internet trying to find one, I've been on my usual sites, Topshop, Zara, H&M. Of course, I then started to daydream. Ponchos

Hello Hello!!

It's getting colder!! That means its time to layer. One of my favourite layering pieces right now is a printed Poncho!! I actually featured one of my own outfits in this blog post (which I will hopefully start doing more of.) Here are a few of my favourite ponchos that are somewhat reasonably priced (Aritzia is killing it in the Poncho department right now) as well as my poncho outfit, some more outfit ideas and of course, some outfit inspiration from the pro's.

I ripped off the tag on my poncho because it was super itchy. I got this at Bryans though. The dress is a hand me down from a friend but is from Zara. The purse and belt are from Aldo and the booties are from Call it Spring.

Daydream Vs. Reality: Red Trench Coat

Time for another daydream vs. reality outfit! I need a new coat. I have a great light summer coat and a great cozy winter coat but I need something in between! The perfect type of coat would be a trench. I've been shopping online for one and came across this beautiful red Lanvin trench on farfetch.com and fell in love!! Of course Lanvin is a bit out of my price range so I started searching for one I could actually afford and came across this adorable alternative on chicwish.com!!

Daydream vs. Reality: Rock Concert Outfit

Hey everyone!!

I went to a rock concert for the first time in forever on the weekend. I love fashion but haven't bought a ton of clothes for fall, as I'm saving for my trip to Disneyland in November. I had to piece together something relatively cute and edgy with what I had. Here's what I came up with....

My Outfit

I love pairing tights with shorts and boots for fall

Denim Blouse- Smart Set

Denim Shorts and Bracelet- H&M
Tights- Forever 21
Boots- Spring

This is me having awkward photo's of myself taken in my outfit. I follow so many fashion blogs and LOVE fashion but feel really uncomfortable having my photo taken so it's usually done very quickly. I want to improve on this but.... baby steps.


I've had these boots for forever but I still love them. I only recently purchased this denim blouse from Smart Set but I already know I'll get a ton of wear out of it this fall.
