How to Mix Prints

I am obsessed with this trend!! I love it when unexpected pieces are paired together to create an interesting yet cohesive outfit!!
Please keep in mind, do not just throw anything together, there is a method to the madness of mixing prints.

#1. Keep your prints in the same colour family
#2. Break up your look with solids
#3. If your using the same pattern, invert the colours
#4. Stripes are neutrals
#5. Textured materials count as a print
#6. Pair two types of the same print
#7. HAVE FUN!!

Here are a few ways I would do this fun fashion trend.
(WARNING: I went a little overboard on the whole "daydream" thing, these pieces are not cheap!! Use them as inspiration.)

Leopard Print
Same print, different colour
1.Saint Laurent 2.Tai 3.Kate Spade New York 4.Essentiel Antwerp 5.Diane Von Furstenberg
Geometric
Same colour, different print
1.Samantha Wills 2.A.L.C 3.Elizabeth and James 4.McQ Alexander McQueen 5.Steve Madden

Florals
Mix two types of a similar print
1.Proenza Schouler 2.Oscar de la Renta 3.Cambridge Satchel 4.Joe's Jeans 5.P.a.r.o.s.h.
