New Westminster Shopping

Yesterday I went down to The Quay in New Westminster, had brunch at a place called Angelina's, went for a walk in the sunshine and visited a little store called Mid Century Modern Home.

Mid-Century specializes in modern furniture from the 1950s and '60s, most of it from Denmark. The sleek, low-profile pieces manufactured with light-coloured teak and rosewood are the product of a design aesthetic that tried to merge the natural and manufactured worlds.

I wanted pretty much everything in the store!

I love this chair!

We also went into a store called Brick & Mortar Living but there were too many people in the store for me to take pictures. I did however find a Pinterest page for them.

A quaint little shop in the heart of historic downtown New Westminster. Filled with local designs, unique gifts, jewelry and nostalgia for the home. -http://www.downtownnewwest.ca/
